SIM183 is a device that detects NMEA0183 signal transmission and reception.

It adopts a handheld design and can be carried with you.

It is equipped with a large-capacity lithium battery and can work continuously for a long time (about 9 hours) at any location.

SIM183 can receive and display the NMEA0183 signal output by the connected device, detect the baud rate and the peak voltage of the input signal,

and can also send the selected NMEA0183 sentence. A total of 142 kinds of NMEA0183 sentences are stored for selection, and the sending baud rate is adjustable.

This instrument is mainly used for installation, debugging, maintenance and troubleshooting of marine equipment.

Function description

NMEA0183 receiving: Read and measure the NMEA0183 signal sent by the external device.

Display the received NMEA0183 sentence information in real time, and detect the peak voltage and baud rate of the received signal.

NMEA0183 send: send standard NMEA0183 sentences to external connected devices (142 kinds of sentences are optional).

Select the required sentence by the first letter or by the instrument,

and the commonly used DPT sentence in the echo sounder sentence

and the commonly used VBW and VLW sentence in the log sentence are available for users to set the data parameters according to their needs.

Sending baud rate setting: Set the baud rate for sending NMEA0183 signals to external devices.
