Deublin 55 series universal rotary joint This small universal joint can be used for water, intermittent steam or hot oil applications. Two high-precision ball bearings keep the sealing surfaces in precise alignment. 55, 155, 255 and 355 models have stainless steel swivels. Models 525, 555 and 655 have carbon steel swivels. All specifications of the joints are available in dual-channel and single-channel, and both adopt double-sealing combinations. "Universal" seal The standard general-purpose seal is made of graphite to copper and has a tetrafluoroethylene sealing wedge. It can be used for water, intermittent saturated steam (less than 20% of the time) or hot oil applications requiring low torque, temperature not exceeding 395 ℉ (220 ℃) and filtration accuracy of about 25 microns. Hot oil application type joints require lubrication with suitable high temperature lubricants. Extended life seal (E.L.S.)
