OCTG API 5CT Oil Casing Pipe
After oil/gas well drilling is completed, the drilling contractors will follow procedures to run in hole OCTG production casing pipe for cementing.
There are usually three types of casing pipe, which are surface casing pipe,technical casing pipe and production casing pipe, many wells follow the above casing pipe assembly, and sometimes there is conductor casing pipe before the surface casing, the size is 20" or 24" to block the surface loose formation.
The basic casing pipe specifications are as follows:
Standard: API Spec 5CT, API Spec 5B, GOST
Size: 4-1/2"-20"
Grade: J55, K55, N80, L80, L80-9Cr, L80-13Cr, P110
Length: R1, R2, R3. R3 length is commonly used for oilfield.
Connections: BTC, LTC, STC, OTTM and Premium Connections (Metal to Metal Seal Connection, Flush Joint Connection)
