Main Application of Disc Insulator

Structure of Disc Suspension Insulator

Disc suspension insulators are made of porcelain, iron caps and steel feet glued to no less than No. 525 Portland cement, porcelain sand or quartz sand cement. The contact surface between the iron cap and the steel foot and the adhesive is thinly coated with a buffer layer. The top of the steel foot has a resilient pad. The surface of the porcelain is generally white glazed. Brown glaze or blue ash glaze can also be applied as needed. The surface of the iron cap and steel feet are all hot-dip galvanized.
