motion compensator hose
Motion compensator is used to reduce the bad influence of the two connected objects relative motion. Motion compensator hose is often installed between standpipe and swivel or between pump and standpipe. It is used to give pressure to the compensator to ensure that the pressure of drilling string is constant. In other words, it is used to stabilize the rotary drilling rig and the pump equipment. The structure of motion compensator hose is the same as decoking hose and cement hose. It is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. Tube is made from synthetic rubber that is resistant to chemical fluids, oil and abrasion. Reinforcement is made from four alternating layers of high tensile spiral wire. The cover is made from synthetic rubber that is resistant to ozone, weather, abrasion and corrosion.
The details of motion compensator hose:

Structure: motion compensator hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover.
- Tube: synthetic rubber that is resistant to most chemical fluids, oil and abrasion, principally nitrile rubber.
- Reinforcement: four alternating layers of high tensile spiral wire.
- Cover: synthetic rubber that is resistant to ozone, weather, abrasion and corrosion, mainly chloroprene rubber.
- Inside diameter: 2" - 3" (50.8mm - 76.2mm).
- Outside diameter: 2.7" - 3.7" (68.0mm - 94.6mm).
- Working pressure: 21MPa (3040psi).
- Testing pressure: 42MPa (6090psi).
- Burst pressure: 84MPa (12180psi).
Application of motion compensator hose:
Motion compensator hose is mainly used to reduce the bad effect of pump and standpipe.
Motion compensator hose is used to keep the pressure of drilling string constant.
Our advantage:
- The working pressure of drilling hose is designed based on the maximum working pressure of drilling machine. The minimum burst pressure of drilling hose is 2.5 times as high as the working pressure. Therefore, even though the pump breaks down, the drilling hose will not burst.
- The tube of drilling hose is made from nitrile rubber, which can prevent the oil-based mud from permeating out of hose leading to the hose damage in the process of conveying the oil-based mud.
- Our drilling hose is manufactured with integral connectors and the connectors are resistant to pull-off, which can avoid the connectors falling off and hurting the workers in the process of pressure test. And this feature improves the pressure resistance and safety performance of drilling hose greatly.
