What ground can an X tent be anchored to?
An X tent can be anchored to almost any type of surface including soil, stone, carpet, snow or flooring. Its versatile selection of anchoring styles, for both soft and hard ground, as well as its ballast system, mean securing the X tent even in precarious places like hills is simple and easy.

Will the weather affect my X tent?
Every X tent is weather-resistant as standard. Each tent is waterproof and can withstand winds of up to 20mph – we’ve even tested them in industrial wind tunnels to prove it! Standing under an X tent will also give you as much UV resistance as putting on factor 50 suntan lotion and the polyethylene covers are fire resistant. In short, an X tent can withstand almost anything the elements can throw at it.

How long will an X tent stay inflated?
In an ambient environment an X tent could theoretically stay inflated for an indefinite amount of time. In extremes of hot and cold, due to the air inside the bladder and legs contracting or expanding, a top-up would be required every now and then, which can be performed using the electric pump or by hand.

Can I wash my X tent?
An X tent can be washed, but only with a very mild detergent. Special care must also be taken over what colours are washed together: if your X tent contains vibrant reds, blues or other similar colours mixed with white, these colours could run in high temperatures, ruining the design.

How easy is it to repair my X tent?
In the unlikely event that an X tent is punctured or damaged the affected parts can easily be removed for repair. Legs can be unclipped from the central anchoring point, while walls, inner tubes and other accessories can be removed by unzipping them from the frame. Repairing a puncture to the X tent is as simple as repairing one to a bicycle. We also offer a free X tent health check in your first six months to ensure that your X tent is in top condition.

Can I put up an X tent quickly?
Setup times vary depending on which X tent is being inflated. For the smaller models, such as the 4×4 and the 5×5, it can take as little as 5-10 minutes to inflate the X tent with an electric pump. The larger models are just as quick, with the largest, the 8×8, taking only 35 minutes to inflate fully using a pump. If inflating the tents by hand, however, these times may be longer.
