Triathlon wetsuits are usually completely made from smooth skin neoprene, which to reduce friction in the water. A smooth skin wetsuit will slip through the water slightly easier than a nylon surfaced wetsuit.
Triathlon wetsuits are also designed to have high flexibility and often use grades of neoprene and nylon that are more flexible that standard grades. Tri-athletes also benefit from the inherent buoyancy of neoprene as this allows the body to float slightly higher in the water.

a. 5mm/3mm/2mm wetsuit for elite tri-athlete to combat in the big game.
b. 1.5mm wetsuit for training.
Specification for Triathlon Wetsuit
SCS,Super Composite Skin, is a very unique material which by special processing is applied as a coating/layer over the surface of independent closed cell neoprene.
The micelle structure on the rubber surface repels water when in contact with air, and reduces the surface resistance when in contact with water. The coefficient of surface resistance is under 1/10 of conventional smooth skin in the dry and 1/100 in the wet. This super low resistance of SCS gives marine suits many functional advantages.
