General Inspection Procedure
(Furniture)
- Standard:
ISO2859, single sample plan, level Ⅱ
AQL: Critical: 0
Major: 2.5
Minor: 4.0
- Defect Classification:
Critical: A defect that is likely to result in hazardous or unsafe conditions for individuals using and maintaining.
Major: A defect that is likely to result in failure, or to reduce materially the usability of the unit for its intended purpose.
Minor: A defect that is having little bearing on the effective use of the product.
Overall inspection result will be not conformed due to the Special Attention Points:
Any deviation against the client’s specification, such as quantity, documents, markings or components that are not complying with the safety standards or requirement will be recorded under Special Attention and the overall inspection result will be Not Conformed.
- Checking of the quantity of the goods and Sampling:
l Verify that 100% of the order quantity is finished and at least 80% packed into export cartons.
l Randomly draw out the inspection samples according to the standard ISO2859 (see point 1 of this procedure).
- Checking of the packaging and marking:
Recording of the markings and packaging:
l Shipping mark;
l Packing method:
l Packing material;
l Packing assortment;
l Markings/logos/labels/sign on the packaging (if applicable);
l Markings/logos/labels/sign on the product (if applicable).
- Workmanship inspection on all drawn samples:
l No defect on the visible surface of the unit;
Non-conformity:
All non-conformities will be judged according to the definitions made under point 2 of this procedure.
- Data measurement:
l Product Measurement (3samples/item).
l Serial number and ID barcode checking (3samples/item).
l Assembly checking (3samples/item).
l Quantity checking (3samples/item).
l Moisture content checking (3samples/item).
l Other technical specifications checking (according to the specifications provided by the client).
