Bucket elevator with large throughput, great enhancing -height, stable and reliable operation, long life and other significant advantages. Hybrid-type or gravity discharge, earth-type loading. Applicable to transport packing density of less than 1.5t/m3, easy to take out the powder, granular, small block of low-mill cut materials, such as coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizer, food and so on. Delivery temperature of the material does not exceed 250°C.
Working Principle of vertical bucket elevators:
Vertical bucket elevator machine are designed to move flowing powders or bulk solids vertically. vertical bucket elevator machine use an endless belt or chain and have a series of buckets attached to it. Bulk material is spread into an inlet hopper. Buckets (or cups) dig into the material and convey it up and over the head sprocket/pulley, and then throw the material out a discharge throat.
Vertical bucket elevators are not self-feeding, and are fed at a controlled rate. The buckets are usually where the chain or belt path is vertical or steeply inclined in a single plane. The buckets are returned back down to a tail pulley or sprocket at the bottom. There are four broad classifications of vertical bucket elevator machine: centrifugal, continuous, positive, and internal discharge. The most commonly used are the centrifugal and continuous discharge elevators.
Application of bucket elevator:
Bucket elevator conveyor used for lifting powder, granular materials and small block and grinding of small materials, such as: coal, cement, stones, sand, clay, ore and so on. or other industries of dry mortar for construction, chemistry and foodstuff.
