Super Premium Rubber Mastic Tape

HarshMet HRT-S81 is a premium upgraded self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape. 

HRT-S81 consists of an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with an aggressive, 

temperature-stable mastic adhesive, and provides a reliable sealing and insulation for power or communication 

cable splices and terminations. When it’s stretched, the superb memory function of the EP rubber to recover 

to its original form provides important centripetal force for the mastic to flow and fill in all the gaps and notches

 of the cable jacket, thereby forming a water resistant seal. Besides the excellent waterproof performance, 

HRT-S81 boasts superior electrical, mechanical properties. HRT-S81 also has very excellent weather-proof performance, resistant to UV and ozone. HPT-SP63 Vinyl tape is recommended to be used with HRT-S81 to 

achieve an even better water-resistant effect.
