Thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber
Description
Thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber is a cold polymerized, 23.5% styrene staining type SBR made with a mixed acid emulsifier, staining stabilizer and salt acid coagulation.
SBR exhibits appreciably higher physical properties than can be obtained with most hot rubbers. It has more tack due to the rosin acid emulsifying system employed during polymerization. This characteristic provides easier processing properties and better cohesion between a rubber to rubber interface.
Due to the staining stabilizer, it can be used only in applications where color is of secondary importance.
Usage
Styrene-butadiene rubber is mainly used in the tire industry. Styrene-butadiene rubber in the passenger car tire, small tractor tires and motorcycle tires in the tire industry is relatively large, while a smaller proportion of truck tires and radial tires.
Styrene-butadiene rubber tape with no special requirements, hoses, and some industrial products, a wide range of applications. For example, the plastic cover for transport, water hose, rubber shoes outsole, rubber roller, waterproof rubber products, etc.
