1. Product Function

THT-ZT neutral grounding resistor cabinet (NGR or NER) are employed in medium-voltage AC distribution networks to limit the current that would flow through the neutral point of a transformer in the event of an earth fault. It connected between the neutral point of the transformer and the earth. Its function is to limit the single phase ground fault current to a specified value so that protecting the transformer and generator.

When the transformer windings adopt delta connection and a Zigzag connecting, Grounding transformer needs to be separately installed, the THT-ZT-type neutral grounding resistor cabinet can be matched.

b. Intelligent control units.

It would not only monitor the earth fault and temperature of unbalanced current and resistors, but also record the current value, time, NGR temperature changes and grounding frequency. At the same time, it will transmit the above information to the main control room.
