Product Description
The prebaked anode is based on petroleum coke、pitch coke as the aggregate, coal, made of asphalt binder used for the pre-baked aluminum reduction cell anode material. This charcoal has been roasting , with a stable geometry, so also known as the pre-baked anode carbon block ,it is customary ,also known as aluminum with the carbon anode. Carbon anodes are essential to the production of aluminum ,as describe in “The Smelting Process” above.
Pre –baked anode carbon block as anode material, plays a dual role of conductive and reduction. They are used in electrolysis cells. Anodes are consumed in the process of electrolysis and must be replaced every 20-30 days, depending on the size and cell design
