Description:
Chipboard screws, also named particleboard screws, are self-tapping screws with thin shafts and coarse threads. They are made of carbon steel or stainless steel and then galvanized.A chipboard screw or particleboard screw is one type of a self tapping screw with a thin fine or coarse threads. Chipboard is a made up of resin and wood dust or wood chips, so chipboard screws are made to grip this composite materials and to resist withdrawing.

Chipboard is made from wood by products that are emperrs together and treated under enormous pressure to make it strong and durable. Applications for use include furniture, inner layers,shelving, floors of doors, counter tops and other parts.
You need to be sure that the screw is strong enough for the object and will not damage the material. This is very important with screws that are being used outside as steel will rusting and damage, leading to unsightly stains and ultimately breakage. You will never be able to remove them ether, as they will break off.
The screws solidly fastened chipboard to chipboard or chipboard to other materials such as woods, floors. Many different screw types, material and sizes exist.Chipboard screws of different lengths can be used in a variety of applications. They are created to fasten low, medium and high density chipboard. Many chipboard screws are self tapping screw, so there is no necessary to drill holes first.
Our company have do this product from No.4 gauge (3.0mm) to No.14 gauge (6.0mm) about Torx and Pozi head styles, but a full thread or part thread option depending on the application. We have stock many ranges in A2 stainless but also A4 where extra corrosion resistance is required.
