Description:
Planetary type stranding machine(OPGW) is used for stainless fiber unit, steel-cored AL stranded wire, bare copper & bare AL stranded cable
Main components:
Pay-off stand, cage, wire die holder, non-metal taping device, meter counter, haul-off device, take up with traverse, transmission system, electrical control system and safety fencing.
1. The main shaft is made of one seamless steel tube, supported by double-row roller bearings on both ends.
2. Each cradle is engaged by one group of gears with the backtwist gear which is around the main shaft to complete back-twisting motion. This gear system also eliminate of the cradle vibration in the case of cradle one-line connection transmission and accumulated error on the gear gaps.
3. The wire tension is controlled by electric-magnetic hysteresis brake, each wire tension is kept stable and balance through PLC control. The dog pin for the bobbin has spring inside, easily for loading and unloading the bobbin.
Applications:
The machine is used for stranding copper wires with backtwist, stranding large-section soft copper conductors, rubber-insulated wires, also for steel wire armoring.
