Description
    Flexible Mechatronics Production Training System simulates the actual industrial production system, and is mainly composed of console station, materials supply station, simulating painting & drying station, capping station, pinning station, inspection station, sorting station and lifting & storage station. To complete work, supplementary units like linear & rotary transfer unit, round belt turning unit, scrap transfer unit and so on are attached. In the whole system, industrial field bus PROFIBUS-DP is used for data communication which enables all the stations to work both independently and jointly.
    Flexible Mechatronics Production Training System covers the man-machine interface, mechanical structure, system installation and commissioning, troubleshooting, computer technology and system engineering in the profession integrating mechanics, electronics, optics and pneumatics. Therefore, it meets the requirements on mechanics, electronic circuit, communication and automatic control training, as well as on PLC and computer technology, signal detection technology and sensor technology as an integrated application system of industrial Automation and Mechatronics.
   
Linear transfer unit
    The unit is a basic unit in the system, for training on linear transfer technology common in industry.
   
Round belt turning unit
    Flexible Mechatronics Production Training System is driven unit without its own driving power, and is capable of changing movement direction of materials being processed quickly and smoothly. Students can learn the principle and structure of commonly-used turning units.
   
Extended functions
    Each PLC is equipped with an I/O insulation board. Through students operation of the selection switches on the operation panel, working part and PLC control part can be separated. Each PLC is capable of working independently. Furthermore, simulation modules are added in the system for training on how to use Siemens PLC basic instructions skillfully.
