Brown Fused Alumina with high alumina is developed on the basis of brown fused alumina smelting. It can substitute compact Fused Alumina to make tapping launder castable refractory. It can also substitute white fused alumina and tabular Alumina to make sliding plate, corundum bricks and abrasion-resistant castable etc, all of which have achieved the same effectiveness compare with using compact fused alumina and white fused alumina. However, with its large-scale mass production, cut-throat competition in the market, and the inherent defects of traditional vice-white fused alumina is directly fused from the bauxite, so it happens some instable phenomena such as bursting and pulverizing in the practical using course of vice-white fused alumina in the current market, which result in many manufacturers who can use vice-white fused alumina to substitute white fused alumina and compact fused alumina hold doubted or even negative attitudes on the vice-white fused alumina.
