Description of Disc Wood Chipper:
This wood chipper is a disc like wood chipping and crushing machine applied to chip wood logs with diameter of 50-250mm. The diameter of wood chips/sawdust can be only 2-5mm, which is suitable for further pelletizing or briquetting for wood pellets making.
Working Principle of Disc Wood Chipper:
The disc wood chipper consists of machine body, chipping blades, re-crushing hammers, sieving part, etc. It has the features of chipping and crushing in one machine, one step operation of sawdust making and there's no need to use other wood chippers for preprocessing of wood logs.
Disc wood chipper is designed with the function of double breaking by slice and blow force. The blades chipping part can slice/chip the logs, branches, roots into small pieces firstly and then the hammers crushing part will blow and impact these small pieces into nearly powdery material. And the size of final wood particles can be controlled by the aperture of sieve.
