Contact Properties：
The AgWC contact with 12%-65%WC is of very great hardness and low mechanical wear and the contact resistance is a little higher than that of AgW,but very stable,as a result of the provention of the dissociated carbon from forming the oxidized film ,and well resistance against arc erosion ,small welding trend,thus ,it can be used together with silver nickel for its small burning and little welding capability.So in some cases,the unsymmetrical contact pairs have to be used.Such as breakers,ground fault circuit breakers and railway switches etc.
