Applications
DTY yarn is mainly used in weaving & knitting of fabrics for making clothes, home furnishings, seat covers, bags and many other uses.
DTY can also be used to sew which is over locking. Overlocking is a necessary process for off-cut of clothes. And the requirements of overlocking stitch are not very high, so to save cost, it is generally to use polyester yarn with network to make overlocking stitch which is no need twisting. DTY just can be made to overlocking stitch but not sewing thread, because sewing thread is made by polyester staple fiber rather than polyester filament yarn.
