Product Description
The drill collar is mainly used to provide bit pressure for drill bit, keeping drill pipe in tensile condition. It stabilizes the drill bit and keep well trajectory still. Thread drill collar and non-magnetic drill collar are special breeds.Thread drill collar processes three spiral grooves on cylndrical surface to decrease contact area with sidewall, avoiding pressure & sticking. Non-magnetic drill collar is mainly used in monitoring during drilling process.
All API threaded connections execute standard API SPEC7-1 and API RP 7G.
