Features of Carbon Fiber Heating Pad
1) Width of electrode (11-strand electroplated silver lines): 18mm (0.709in.), to make good connection with carbon fibers and electrode.
2) Crimp connection are used between electrode and conductor, to avoid flaws of cold soldering, false soldering, empty soldering and electric cord exposed to view because of shrinks of connectors’ peels with heat of soldering, and between heat protector and conductor: terminal blocks, to increase bending strength between heat protector and conductor.
3) Sleeves of conductors: PET monofilament, to increase abrasion resistance of the bundles, resistance to high/low temperatures, and resistance of flame.
4) Stitch for fixing carbon fiber on the pad: the stitch for fixing carbon fiber determines the spacing of carbon fiber pattern, and contributes safety factors of the pad. The range of stitches applied by Chinese heating pad manufacturers is from 1.5mm. (0.05in)~2.0mm.(0.08in), but ours is 1.0mm (0.04in)~1.5mm.(0.05in).
5) Backing paper of double-coated adhesive tape: there are 10mm of two edges of the backing uncoated adhesive, so that the backing is easily ripped open.
6) Thin film pressure sensor of human body: the circuit is completed only if the sensor is under the pressures of over 40kg (88 lb), no matter the switch is on or off, to avoid the pad idle heating when nobody on the seat.
the life time of the pressure senor: over 1 million times, the working temperature: -40℃(-40℉)~120℃(248℉)
