Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is made by sandwiching an inner plastic laminate layer (Polyvinyl Butyral) between the two glass pieces to form laminated glass. When broken, the glass remains in place by sticking to the vinyl interlayer and is therefore less likely to cause injury. Laminated glass can also provide acoustic insulation and filters out the majority of UV radiation in sunlight. It is used in automotive windscreens. This glass is widely used in curtain wall, ceiling and other places.
