Low iron content enhances visible light transmittance by reducing the light absorption of the glass. CHARACTERISTICS●Higher light transmittance ensures the plants/flowers more light and vigorous growth.●The extra weight in tempered glass gives your greenhouse much more resistance to high heavy wind and will protect your greenhouse frame from shaking and swinging.●Ultra clear float glass which has been cut to size, processed and edgeworked as necessary, are heated to about 700°C in a tempering furnace and then chilled rapidly by cold air blown onto both surfaces, effectively increasing the strength of the glass by four to five times.
