Installation point
1. The foot valve should adopt full flow foot valve, or the open area of foot valve should be larger than the sectional area of suction pipe;
 
2. When the caliber of the suction pipe needs to be enlarged, the balanced expander (concentric expander) can not be used, instead, the eccentric expander shall be used and the top shall be flat and assembled;

3. When using the closed flume, the horizontal fixed suction pipe can not be used, the convenience for the maintenance of the foot valve in the future shall be considered.

 
 
Maintenance of Rolling Bearing
Recharge of grease and oil

The matching small-scale motors of this company adopt the totally-enclosed maintenance-free bearing, which doesn’t need to fill in grease. The large-scale motors have obvious lubrication mark.When the time is more than 3 months since the motor of water pump is dispatched from our factory to running, or from the motor stopping to restart of water pump,,, new oil should be recharged, please pay attention!The grease outlet is a structure that cannot be seen, the grease should be pressed in continuously until the bearing sound is normal. Recharge of grease and oil should be done in the process of running, because recharging grease and oil when the machine stops may cause insufficiency of grease exchange. Please avoid that as far as possible.Before recharge of grease and oil, clean the grease nipple and open the oil extraction cover plate, and recover locking after finishing. In the process of filling, a small amount of grease overflow is normal phenomenon, which can increase sealing effect and prevent dust and foreign mater intruding.Different kinds of greases are prohibited to be mixed.The feed quantity of grease is determined when the old grease is completely driven out and the new grease begins to be driven out. The oil outlet cover should be opened in advance. After fueling and running for 30min, lock it well.Bearing temperature:

When recharging grease, the bearing temperature will rise temporarily, and it will return to normal after reaching certain time. The temperature rise of bearing bracket surface is subject to 40℃ (environment temperature 40℃), and the maximum temperature can not exceed 80℃.

Inspection during operation
When running begins, the running diary should be recorded according to the following matters. If anomaly occurs, deal with it as soon as possible.

Temperature: Pay attention whether the temperature has large change.Sound: When the bearing is in normal running, there is certain sound. If there is no severe change or particularly sharp shrill sound, please don’t worry.
