Customized Drive In Type ASRS Automated Storage Retrieval System With Stacker Cranes
Description:
1. Unit goods type means there are 2 rows of racking with 1 stacker crane in the middle aisle. The goods to be placed on the 2 rows of racking will face the aisle so that stacker crane moves and carries the pallet and goods to the specific location on the racking. The other type is drive in type automated storage and retrieval system. Several lines of tunnel-type racking which are similar as the drive in rack will be placed at each side of the aisle. Stacker crane will be placed in the middle of the drive in type racking. Goods will be moved and carried by the stacker crane to the specific level of each lane of the racking, and the shuttle on the stacker crane carries the pallets with goods to the specific location.
2. According to the function of the automated storage and retrieval system, there are two types, ASRS for goods storage and ASRS for selectivity. Goods with high volume but few types can be stored on the ASRS (drive in type). Goods with more types but low volume can be stored on the ASRS (unit good type).
