FRP grating introduction
According to the methods of making grating, it can be divided into molded FRP grating and pultruded grating.
v Molded FRP grating is made from unsaturated polyester resin and glass fiber roving. It is made through weaving and mold pressing or through hand made and heating to shape. Appearance is smooth, beautiful. The quality is high — glass fiber is more than 30%.
v Pultruded grating combines corrosion resistance, long life and low maintenance when compared to conventional metallic gratings. Pultruded Grating is manufactured with a recessed tie bar configuration, is lightweight and easy to fabricate. Manufactured with 70% glass fiber and 30% resin, pultruded products confidently service longer clear spans.
