Description
The surgical abdominal gauze lap sponges is a special sponge made from absorbent gauze and equipped with sewn-in X-ray detectable chip used inside of the body ( internally ) during invasive surgical procedures . Widely used to clean wounds , to absorb secretion and after sterilization for gripping and retaining organs and tissue during surgery . The sponge may be used to soak up blood or other liquids , to hold an organ or other part of the body in place , or at the discretion of the surgeon .
Sterile laparotomy sponges , with sewn-in X-ray detectable chip and loop . It\'s designed for staunching bleeding and for wound treatment , for gripping or retaining organs and body tissue during laparotomy .

Sterile and non-sterile lap pad sponge ( with or without x-ray )
1. 100% cotton yarns
2. The sterile ways : Gama Ray , ETO , STEAM etc
3. Absorbency = 3-5s , whiteness = 80% A
4. Soft and higher of absorbency with 100% all natural
5. Mesh : 13 , 17 , 20thereads/cm2 or customized as per clients’ requirement
6. With or without X-ray detectable threads / tapes
7. With or without blue cotton loop
8. Pre-washed or non-washed/sterile or non-sterile
9. Expiry: 5years
10. Standard confirming to BP , EUP , USP etc
11. Certificates : CE , ISO13485 and TUV , FDA Approved
12. Different types and packing method ( 5pcs/pack , sterile or non sterile ; size can be customized as per different requirements )
