Silicon Carbide Briquettes made from SiC Scraps are mainly used in Electric Furnace and Cupola. It acts as deoxidizer in the process of iron foundries and steel mills. It is used for Special Steel, Stainless Steel, T-steel making, G-steel making and K-steel making. Silicon Carbide Briquettes can raise the heat temperature in the furnaces, shorten the melting time, increase the metal rate, minimize the oxidation losses on metal surface, and improve output. It can take effect in adding carbon, oxidizing, increasing the content of silicon and temperature.
