Features
1. Corrosion resistance: Polyethylene (PE), as inert material, can resist the corrosion of many chemical media except a few strong oxidizers. It is free of electrochemical corrosion and needs no anti-corrosion coating.
2. Leakage resistance: PE gas pipes mainly adopt electric melting and thermal melting to integrate pipeline system. Compared with rubber sealed joint and mechanical joint, it is a kind o f pipeline with excellent shock resistance.
3. High tenacity: Polyethylene gas pipes are of high tenacity with breaking elongation ≥350%. It has a strong adaptability to uneven sedimentation of tube base and excellent shock resistance.
4. Excellent flexibility: The flexibility of polyethylene makes PE pipes at the diameter ≤160mm able to roll up. Applied in construction without cutting grooves, PE pipes have strikes changeable according to construction methods.
