Fiberglass Mesh For Marble Slab ReinforcementMarble Slab Reinforcement Mesh
Where thin marble or other types of stone slabs are cut from blocks or where lower quality material is used, mesh fabrics can be used as a reinforcement together with epoxy or polyester resin. The high tensile strength of fiberglass mesh is preferred to prevent damage to slabs during shipping and handling.
To ensure reliable bonding to the marble slabs, we've developed custom coatings. These coatings dissolve in resin, allowing resin to penetrate the mesh fibres this creating a strong joint between mesh and slabs.
