Basalt Fiber Roving/cloth/mesh/tape

Basalt product technology was initially imported from the Soviet Union,but now China’s technology ranks high in the world.We mass produce 100 to 2400tex basalt roving,more than that,we can also manufacture 6um,9um and 11um dia 66tex basalt fiber and twisted them into higher tex value roving.Due to its excellent mechanical properties,basalt fiber has now replaced carbon fiber and aramid fiber in many fields ,and used in composites fields.We stared to pay special attention on basalt in 2001 and developed many different products for customers,such as basalt rope for Italian customer,basalt tape for Australian customer,basalt texturized roving and basalt mat for American customer,and basalt rod,basalt threaded rod for Canadian customer.More than that,we have also developed basalt yarn made cloth,basalt cloth,basalt unidirectional cloth,+/-45 biaxial cloth,0/90 biaxial cloth,basalt fiber mesh,basalt tissue with area weight 30g/m2 to 100g/m2,and basalt roving pipe with dia 1’’ to 4’’.We have strong R&D capability for basalt product and waiting for your further inquiry!

Our Products

1.Basalt Non-twist Roving

It is non-twist reinforced roving made by basalt fiber of filament diameter 11-13um as per 1200tex,2400tex and 4800tex.

2.Basalt Chopped Strands

It is procesed to be 3mm,6mm,9mm,12mm,24mm,48mm,96mm strands from basalt roving of filament diameter 11-13um,which is as the reinforcement in for cement,thermosetting and thermoplastic resin.

3.Basalt Yarn

The basalt yarn uses basalt roving with filament diameter of 7um and 9um then be twisted in 60-100 per meter.Usually,the twist direction is Z or S.This yarn can be used to produce basalt fabric.

Each bobbin is 3kg and 6 bobbins in each carton.

  4.Basalt Rope

This rope uses basalt fiber to be braided with diameter from 3mm to 30mm.Then length of each roll is 200m.Because of basalt fiber has properties of resist to heat,acid and alkali,it cna be used as sealed and reinforced under 800℃ and chemical environment.

6.Basalt Tape

It uses nasalt yarn as raw material to braid into tape with thickness of 0.1mm and 0.2mm.As per requirement by client,the width can be supplied within 15mm-200mm and each roll is 30m to 50m.
This kind tape can stand 800℃ and be used in acid and alkali environment.
