Description:
Our complete animal feed pellet plant has a compact structure, low energy consumption and is highly
efficient. Every machine in the wood pellet plant can be designed and manufactured according to
customers’ requirements. Professional technical guidance of installing the machinery is also available.
The whole process of wood pellet line can be highly automatically controlled. It includes the below
processes
1. Crushing process
The best material diameter for supporting to produce pellet is 1-5mm. Thus if your material diameter
exceed 5mm, then you need crushing machine to crush and grind them into small powder 1-5mm
for supporting to produce pellets. Our SDF series chipping and crushing machine is your best
choice. It mills raw material like tree branch, wood shavings, wood chips, wood logs, cotton stalk, corn
stalk, wheat straw etc, with size less than 50mm (diameter). After milled, the output size can reach
diameter 3-5 mm, then it is pushed to next process to get dried and pelletized.
2. Drying process
The best moisture content to pelletizing is about 11-17%. Our rotary dryer is made up of burning
stove and main rotary dryer which is high efficiency in drying the wood and material. It can realize to
reduce the moisture from 50% to 10%. The rotary dryer uses steam to heat air and contact material to
remove certain degree of moisture. It is very important for pellet plant to using moisture detector which
will determine the most suitable moisture before pelletizing.
3. Pelletizing pocess
Pellet mill is the heart of the pellet production line, and has reliable running performance . It is special
designed for compacting of the raw material, straw, and other biomass sources into pellets. Capacity
ranges from 1T to 10T per hour. You can choose ring die pellet mill or flat die pellet mill depend on your
capacity requirement. For feed pellet making ,our HKJ series Ring die pellet mill is best choice for large
scale production, while, SKJ series flat die pellet mill is suitable for small pellet production line. Please

4. Cooling process
Usually after pelletizing, the temperature of pellets is between 60-80 degrees and the moisture content is close
to 15%. For storage purposes, a cooler must be used to
reduce their surface temperature and the moisture content, also help screen good and pure pellets.
However, considering the feedback from some foreign clients, the local climate is very humidity, they
hope to cool the wood pellets with moisture 7-8%. In order to satisfy different needs from different
clients, we develop one kind of new Stabilizer Combined Cooler.
5. Packing process
After cooling process, the wood pellets will not directly enter into the fuel process, avoiding the wood
pellet affected with damp, the packing process is very necessary. The packing process is effectively
handled by our Auto Packing Machine.
