HOW TO REPLACE THE PLUG-IN FLASH TUBE
 
 

If the unit does not flash but the ON/OFF switch indicates that there is power, it could be that the flash tube needs replacing.

Turn off the main switch; Remove the power cable; Take the unit from its stand and put it on a rigid surface;
Please wait for several minutes until the modeling lamp and flash tube cool down; Remove the flash tube and store the modeling lamp carefully; Replacing the flash tube as the procedure as follows ; Pull the flash tube out of the unit; Hold the replacement flash tube assembly, taking care to support both legs of the tube and locating the three brass sockets onto the plugs in the front of the unit gently but firmly; Push the flash tube into position. A clear glove should be used. Don’t touch the flash tube with your fingers because it will cause dark markings when it is used. Please check if the tube correctly aligned; Wind the trigger wire around the flash tube support. Re-connect and test the unit as usual.
