Heat Reflective self-wrapped Aluminum Fiberglass Sleeve designed to provide thermal protection from both radiant and convective heat. Composed of a woven fiberglass base fabric and a lamination of aluminum foil, the product can withstand convective heat soaks up to 200ºC and simultaneously protect critical components from radiant or reflected heat.
The unique woven structure imparts a level of flexibility not found in other reflective products. It also allows the product to maintain a circular profile when flexed.
Self-wrapping Reflective Sleeve is designed for ease of installation when component disassembly isn't practical. Just wrap the preformed, split flexible tube around any component and seal the sides with the high temperature adhesive strip to provide protection from hot pipes and engine components.
Heat Reflective self-wrapped Aluminum Fiberglass Sleeve can reduce the heat transmission from hot pipes or engine components into hoses or harnesses by up to 50% or more!
