1 Workmanship
Asphalt roofing felt, also known as Asphalt Saturated Organic Felt, is produced with a specially formulated organic sheet, which has been fully saturated with waterproofing asphalt. This product is strong, flexible and impervious to water penetration, but it allows water vapor to pass through at a restricted rate. It is mainly used as the waterproofing layer and underlayment for wooden roof deck.

3 Application & Function
1). All-purpose protective waterproof sheet in construction projects;
2). Permanent shingle underlayment for shingles;
3). Temporary roof covering layer during house construction.
4). Restrict vapor movement from the wood deck or attic to the underside of the shingles, preventing condensation;
5). Barrier against wind-driven moisture which may get past the shingles.
