Product Introduction

Ausbond® Plasticote 80 is a kind of single-component acrylic transparent protecting paint, which can form a glazing and stretchable protecting foam on various of printed circuit boards.  It can prevent the corrosion of weak acid, alkali, alcohol, mildew, salt fog, thermal stress, ultraviolet radiation, humidity and insect.         This product is high-temperature resistant and will not drop on heat, and tin can be welded directly on the protecting foam. It can conform to the requirements of EU ROHS Directive completely.

Product Features

1. Fast form the tough, glazing and non-conductive protecting foam.

2. With excellent performances of damp-proof, mildew-proof, salt fog-proof, antisepsis, electricity insulation and electric leakage resistance.

3. Have long protecting term for electrical appliance, equipment and parts etc, to extend their lifetime.

4. High-temperature resistant.The protecting foam will start to soften under 100oC, and become viscous under 120oC but will not drop, and tin can be welded directly on the protecting foam. 

Product Application

Waterproof and damp-proof, and improve insulation strength; isolate the contact between wire, cable, joint of wire, contact of screw and switch box and air; applied for TV set to prevent the corona caused by electric leakage due to elements of high voltage coil etc.; applied for protecting the soft articles of map, diagram, document, drawing and script etc; prevent the corrosion of atmosphere on high-frequency antenna, antenna of TV set and antenna of radio etc; protect circuit board, electronic parts and electronic equipment from being shocked by various chemicals, salt fog, damp, electricity insulation, dust, vibration and high/low temperature and other bad environment.
