Ⅰ. Performance and Character:
Our bolted steel silo is used to store grain, seed, feed, cement, coal and other granular or powdered materials. Popular uses for our product include, temporary transit, raw material, and grain warehouses. Current applications of the Bolted Steel Silo are to provide efficient and affordable storage solutions for grain warehousing, breweries, flourmill, oil mill, starch factories, feed mills, malt factories, distilleries, seaports, farms, and grain-processing centers, etc.

Ⅱ. Structural Outline of Steel Silo
The structure consists of two parts : The body and the roof.
1. The Silo Body
Includes the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders and so on.
(1) The wall plate
Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant. Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness and using period.
(2) Column
The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.
(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders
There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.
2. Roof
Roof is made up of radiated beam, roof cover board, tension ring, ventilator scoop, roof cap, etc.
The space age construction technology, which is adopted in the design of the silo framework, can ensure the stability of silo under the large span. There is a guardrail around the silo eaves and there is also a manhole on top of the roof.
Ⅲ. Operating Regulations of Steel Silo
1. Strictly prohibit loading and discharging materials in a leaning side ways.
Correct Operating Schedule:
A: Discharge the materials from the center discharge hole first until no grain can flow out of the hole.
B: Open the two sideward discharging holes concurrently with a charging speed ≤100T/h capacity.
2. Requirement for loading at original operation: Initially loading 60% volume and two months the remaining 40%.
3. Opening the gate when the grain is above it’s height is strictly prohibited. This would result in the material exploding out and the silo collapsing which can cause injury or death.
4. Strictly prohibit workers from staying in the silo when loading, discharging or breaking the grain block.
5. Close the gate, manhole and ventilator scoop after maintenance, to protect it’s contents from the weather and avoid spillage.
6. Ensure that trained professional worker to have the silos and auxiliaries parts maintained periodically according to the instruction.
7. If the zinc or painted parts are rusted, please take measures timely. The usual method is: descaling→brushing antirusting paint two times→brush surface paint two times. Generally, the paint parts should be painted every two years. Silver paint should be painted every three years in littoral area and every six years in inland area.
8. Ventilate and invert running (putting the grain in silo out and passing the inverting running conveyors and back to the silo again) timely when the grain temperature or if the moisture is high.
9. Strictly prohibit starting the machine when someone is maintaining it.
10. Keep off the silo during bad weather to prevent lightning injury.
11. Connect the column with the lightning net on the embedded part to prevent the silo body from lighting danger.
