Polyurethane-coated material with high frequency welded seams makes this jacket rainwear wind-and waterproof. This unlined, three-quarter length foul weather jacket is designed to fit over clothes and is comfortable, noiseless, highly tear-and flame-resistant.

FR Treatment

Fabrics that are treated with a flame retardant chemical to make them flame Rresistant. The fibers used in these fabrics, such as cotton are not normally considered protective and become flame-resistant of the treatment.

Drotex®’s FR treatment includes an ultra-low formaldehyde solution, and are nearly free from harsh chemicals.

Drotex® FR fabrics and protective clothing are only sent to customers after being strictly tested and inspected for quality, durability and flame resistance to make sure they meet or exceed the standards for flame resistance. 

In an enclosed cabinet, 12 inches  long fabric specimen is vertically suspended in a holder with  restrained on three sides.  A controlled flame is impinged on the bottom cut edge  of the fabric for 12 seconds.  The  flame is extinguished at the end of 12 seconds and three set of data are recorded:
