Meta-Aramid fibers have an excellent heat-resistant property and are widely used for protective apparel such as fire-fighter uniforms and racing suits.
This high strength, and flame retardant fabric is perfect for many of your commerical and industrial needs.
It does not melt and only begins to decompose at a temperature of 700 degrees and is unaffected by most acids. It may incur some strength loss after lengthy exposure to hydrochloric, nitric and sulfuric acids. Wether you use it for protective apparel, interior decorating, insulation, or any other of its comprehensive industrial uses, it is a high quality, strong fabric that will resist the damage of alkalis, mold and mildew.
