While cotton has relatively poor resistance to midew, aging and sunlight. Abrasion resistance is also relatively poor. Polyester is added to the blend to improve the fabric's abrasion resistance.

Warning
Because of the presence of static dissipative fiber, antistatic performance of this fabric is not dependent on ambient relative humidity. It is important to know that this fabric is designed to combat nuisance static only. It should not be used in critical static control applications.
