1. Excellent resistance to chemical attack by oxidation, acids and fuels
2. Very low permeability to a broad range of substances.
3. Good electrical properties in low voltage, low frequency applications.
4. Flame retardant, better than other kinds of rubber.
5. Exceptionally good resistance to compression set, even at temperatures which can embrittle other non-fluorinated elastomers.
