Description:The JP3 press fitting is the new generation produced with world advanced technologies. It is the mainstream fitting, prevailing in European and American markets and indicating the development trend of aluminum-plastic pipe fittings. The JP3 fitting is made of brass and uses EPDM rubber as the seal. The EPDM rubber is good at air-tightness and rebound elasticity, and prevents the mediums like water and gas to impose corrosion on the fitting. Concerning the structure of the fitting, its element is equipped with two layers of O-type seals, which can compress the seal slot and inner wall to form two guards against leakage. Once there is any room between element and inner wall of the pipe due to thermal expansion and contraction, the seals can rebound automatically to squeeze the air out and ensure high tightness. Besides, the surface of the element of the JP3 fitting is designed with three rings of tooth slots, which closely clutch on the PE teeth on the inner wall. In the condition of thermal expansion and contraction, the PE teeth will tightly clutch on the slots and secure the fitting's air-tightness. Further, the element of JP3 fitting is longer than ordinary element (1/3 longer) and the clutched area between inner wall and the element is increased, and so is the air tightness. Generally, F5 fittings perform well at air tightness, and are applicable to surface-mounting and bedding. The specifications of aluminum-plastic composite pipes that are connected with the JP3 fittings are 1014, 1216, 1418, 1620, 2025, 2632 and 3240. And the specifications of threads are G1/2", G3/4", G1", G1-1/4", and G1 1/2". Three contacts (tees) includes equal tees, reducing tees, male tees and female tees. Equal tee: three ends of the tee are connected with pipes of the same size. A JP3-T1620x1620x1620 tee should be connected with 1620 aluminum-plastic composite pipes on all the three ends. Reducing tee: all the three ends of the tee are connected with aluminum-plastic composite pipes. However, at least one of the ends is reducing. A JP3- T2025x1620x 1620 tee should be connected with a 2025 pipe and two 1620 pipes respectively on the left, middle, and right ends. Male tee: both right and left ends of the tee are connected with aluminum-plastic composite pipes, and the middle end is connected with a female thread. A JP3-T1620x1/2x1620 tee should be connected with a 1620 pipe, a 1/2" female thread, and 1620 pipe respectively on the left, middle, and right ends. Female tee: both right and left ends of the tee are connected with aluminum-plastic composite pipes, and the middle end is connected with a male thread. A JP3-T1620x1/2Fx1620 tee should be connected with a 1620 pipe, a 1/2" male thread, and 1620 pipe respectively on the left, middle, and right ends.
