GB/T 18254 GCr15SiMn is a kind of high-carbon chromium bearing steel. Compared with GCr15 steel,it contains higher percent of Si,Mn element,which improves the hardenability and elastic limit. Besides, abrasion performance is better than GCr15. But GCr15SiMn is sensitive to the white dot, temper brittleness,plastic deformation in cold working.
GB/T 18254 GCr15SiMn is usually used to manufacture bearing ring,steel ball,cone roller,spherical roller in big size. The bearing parts works at temperature lower than 180°C. Besides,GCr15SiMn can also be used for parts that high hardness and abrasive resistance are required, such as abrasives,measuring tools,taps.
