Description:
HiVi X3 is a compact high performance active 2-way desktop monitor speaker. It has a built-in professional active filter and power amplifier. The egg-shaped cabinet has low diffraction and good acoustic properties. The die cast aluminum cabinet is extremely strong, and gets maximum volume from its small surface area. The X3 uses a complex low air noise internal bending tube specifically designed for the small cabinet space. The X3 speaker configuration uses a 3-inch woofer and 20mm metal dome tweeter. The crater-shaped tweeter surrounding uses advanced finite element computer aided design in order to obtain a smooth and accurate frequency response and ensure precise sound image localization. The X3 is equipped with a high damping rubber base allowing secure placement, reducing sound distortion caused by extra vibration and also enables 15 degrees of vertical rotation.
The X3 egg-shaped box has a scratch-resistant surface coating and convenient side volume control, along with treble, mid-range and bass control switches on the back. The X3 is specially designed for compact desktop environment with a design philosophy of small size, great sound. The frequency response is 75Hz-20kHz (± 2.5dB, free space) suitable for notebook/tablet computers and digital devices. The X3 offers both desktop and wall-mounted installation, with a mounting rack allowing adjustment to any listening angle. The X3 can also be combined with HiVi’s active subwoofer to become a 2.1 system, with a low-frequency extending below 35Hz, creating a wideband dynamic sound system for music and movies.
The X3 is among the lowest low-frequency extension against similar compact sized speakers, along with a smooth full-frequency response. The compact and strong die-cast aluminum egg-shaped cabinet has lower sound diffraction and many choosable color-finishes. The X3 combines advance speaker driver design and professional active filter/power amplifier technology to reproduce smooth frequency response and low distortion in many different acoustic environments, with accurate sound image positioning and extended low frequency performance. The X3 conveniently connects with different sound sources becoming a unique compact professional monitor/multimedia speaker system.
