Its main function is to ream the hole to the correct comstant specific diameter which ensures adequate

clearance for the core barrel and sufficient clearance for the new bit which replaces an old one.It also acts as a stabilizer for drill bit. 

Adapter coupling 

Adapter coupling is a part of the corebarrel and with a long sercice life.

This product is one type of couplings. It is used to connect tubing pipes.

The placement is male which is easy and flexible to operate.
