M20-5.1MKII is a new high-end desktop surround sound system. The system provides impressive multi-channel sound and is capable of reproducing theater quality sound for desktop theaters and mini home theaters. Based on the M20-5.1 model, the new MKII offers the latest in modern near field acoustic technology.

The system uses a mini wide-band small-box design, small enough for computer desktops. All cabinets are finished in walnut with piano black lacquer end caps and fit seamlessly with most interior designs. Each cabinet is fitted with speaker drivers commonly found in high-end audio systems, including 3” magnesium / aluminum alloy cone full range drivers, treated fabric dome tweeter, and an 8” P.M.K. cone long throw woofer.

For the MKII, HiVi’s electrical engineers designed a completely new power amplifier circuit, which consists of three components; front end input circuit with digital volume control, power control circuit, and six-channel post-stage power amplifier circuit. The result is a system with almost twice as much power handling as the previous revision with improved dynamic sound and deep powerful bass. Included in the revisions was also a convenient remote with digital volume control for easy operation. The M20-5.1MKII provides surprisingly powerful and detailed multi-channel sound for such a small system.
