Description:Product description: JD1000 is a two component, abrasion resistant epoxy floor coating with the following properties: Easy application: Good adhesion to old or new concrete; Allows floor surface to be maintained in hygienic state; JD1000 is available in a large range of colors. For available colors, please refer to color chart. Application areas: JD1000 can be applied to a wide variety of substrates such as concrete, masonry, etc. It is recommended as a protective coating on floors where both a high level of aesthetics and abrasion resistance are required. It is ideal for: warehouses, food processing facilities, etc. Performance data (25°C): Note: All technical data stated in this product data sheet are based on laboratory tests, Actual measured data may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. Application instructions: Surface preparation Correct substrate preparation is critical for optimum performance. Surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from loose particles, oil, grease, and other contaminants Remove oil, grease by scrubbing. Cement laitance, loose particles, pitch and other contaminants must be removed from the surface by sand-blasting. The alkalinity and porosity of the surface must also be considered. Fill surface cracks with epoxy -reinforced solvent-free repair mortar to achieve a level surface. Primer: Apply JD1000component A as a primer. The main purpose of this primer coat is to seal the substrate completely and avoid air-bubbles in the body coat. According to the oil absorption of substrate, a second sealer coat may be required. Putty coat: Scraping JD1000 component A/B as a putty coat, mixed with quartz flour at a with mixing ratio1:1 by weight. After final dried the surplus mortar on the surface must be removed by grind machine and the surface must be smooth and level. Body coat: The mix is applied to the pre-treated substrate by paint-roller or brush. Depending on the surface finish, up to 2 coats may be required to achieve the desired finish. Finishing coat: Apply varnish onto the surface with short-piled roller. Mixing: Component A: Component B = 1:1 Mixing time: Prior to mixing stir component A mechanically, When all of component B has been added to component A, continually mix for three minutes until a uniform mix has been achieved. Over mixing must be avoided to minimize air entrainment. Clean up: Clean tools and equipments first with paper towels, then wipe using a solvent before the resin system hardens. Packing: 10kg, 20kg or as ordered
