Why do we us barite / baryte in plastic and rubber industry?
A colorless orthorhombic crystals or a white amorphous powder. The relative density of 4.50 (15 ℃). The melting point of 1580 DEG C. Hardly soluble in water, alcohol and acid. Soluble in hot concentrated sulfuric acid, dry caking. 600℃ by carbon reduction to barium sulfide.
Applications
Used in paint, ink, plastic, rubber and battery raw material or filler, printing surface coated paper and coated paper agent, sizing agent used in the textile industry. Glass products can be used as fining agent, defoaming and increase the gloss effect. Can be used as a protective wall material radiation used.
