Product Description
The Incoloy 800 alloy wire has excellent temperature strength and resistance to oxidationand various other chemical conditions likecarburization. The alloy offers higher resistance to creep rupturing and chloride ionstress corrosion cracking andintergranular corrosionin the high temperatures. It retains high mechanical strength from room to hightemperature ranges.
The Incoloy 800 alloy is also widely used in the industrial heatingsystems. In the different kinds of heating furnaces, these alloys are utilizedin the radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, and assorted furnace fixtures. Moreoverpower production plants use these alloys in the steam superheating tubing andelevated temperature heat exchangers in gas-quenched nuclear reactors.
